Government Advances Accra–Kumasi Expressway Project

Construction preparations for the Accra–Kumasi Expressway project have progressed, with engineers clearing approximately 17.75 kilometres of land for the proposed highway. The government has also announced plans to finance the project without borrowing, using alternative funding sources. The expressway is expected to improve transportation between Accra and Kumasi and support economic activities along the corridor.
