Trailmark Games and the Coolabi Group announced “Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest,” a turn-based RPG inspired by the “Warrior Cats” novel series.
Players hunt prey, hone skills and defend their home against rival warriors to rise through the ranks of their Clan and discover the secrets of the StarClan.
The game features four story campaigns shaped around the four clans: ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan and WindClan. Each campaign features unique prophecies, rivalries, characters and challenges.
Before launching into the “Warrior Cats” universe, players personalize their own Warrior Cat with unique colors, markings and more details. Each cat’s den and combat style are also customizable.
The game spans forests, marshes, moorlands and sacred landmarks drawn from the world of “Warrior Cats.” Players can encounter legendary cats from the books alongside an original cast for the game’s story.
Gameplay shapes the relationships, rivalries and reputations within the Clans. Players help grow their Clan, strengthen allegiances and embark on a personal journey that is unique on each playthrough.
“Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest” releases this fall on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
“Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest” will be the second licensed title published under video game publisher Trailmark Games, which debuted in June 2026 with “The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival.”
HarperCollins published the first “Warrior Cats” novel, “Into the Wild,” in 2003. The franchise has sold over 90 million copies worldwide. The series currently encompasses nine sub-series arcs, standalone novels, novellas, English-language manga and graphic novels.
