Ghanaian-born U.S.-based pastor, Prophet Jimmy Alla-Mensah, is once again drawing attention after his earlier prophetic prayer call appears to align with two separate emergency incidents involving Air France flights just days apart.

On April 16, 2025, Prophet Jimmy issued a prophetic message urging urgent intercession for France’s airspace. In a post widely circulated on social media, he declared:

“We secure their airspace and any France-related flight (inbound and outbound) in Jesus mighty name.”

Barely two weeks later, on April 30, Air France Flight AF32, operating a transatlantic route from Paris to Atlanta, declared a mid-air emergency shortly after takeoff, sparking renewed safety concerns over the Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

According to a detailed report by Travel and Tour World, the Dreamliner (registration F-HRBA) experienced a critical issue at 25,000 feet over Normandy and had to descend to 20,000 feet before returning to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Flight tracking confirmed that pilots initiated a squawk 7700, the universal distress code, around 50 minutes after departure. The aircraft landed safely at 15:23 CEST, avoiding what could have been a catastrophic event.

In a striking follow-up, Travel and Tour World also reported a similar incident the next day, May 1, involving Air France Flight AF22 to Los Angeles. That flight turned around over the Atlantic Ocean under unclear emergency conditions, further intensifying concerns.

Reacting to the close succession of events, Prophet Jimmy wrote, “Indeed, God is faithful. Two different Air France flights involved in mid-air emergency incidents in 2 days with zero casualties? This is the finger of God,” he stated.

The pastor credited divine intervention for the safety of all passengers and emphasised the spiritual importance of prophetic intercession.

He reiterated, “This is nothing but the power of prophetic intercessory prayers. Glory be to God for saving the passengers on both Air France flights in Jesus mighty name.”

The pastor’s comments have stirred fresh discussions online about the role of prophetic voices in national and global safety concerns. Supporters view the back-to-back incidents as evidence of divine protection following prophetic guidance.

Skeptics, however, continue to debate the correlation between prophecy and unfolding events.

Regardless of perspectives, the incidents bring renewed scrutiny to Boeing’s 787-9 fleet and the importance of aviation preparedness.

According to Travel and Tour World, the same aircraft involved in the April 30 emergency had been diverted just days earlier to Dublin due to a medical incident, raising eyebrows about recurring issues.
