Prime Video presents Un'Altra Madre starring Sabrina Impacciatore known for her roles in The White Lotus, season 2 and Alessandro Borghi known for his role in The Eight Mountains.
“Un’Altra Madre” (“Another Mother”), which is currently shooting, was announced on Wednesday during Prime Video‘s Italy upfront presentation in Rome. The film appears to mark a departure from Impacciatore’s recent roles that are imbued in her goofy, exuberant persona.
In “Un’Altra Madre,” Impacciatore will play a therapist named Olga who runs an exclusive therapeutic community for people deeply marked by trauma in a remote countryside farmhouse. “By her side is her son Lorenzo (Francesco Gheghi), fragile and troubled, bound to her by a deeply complex and intimate relationship,” says the synopsis.
