On Thursday, Greater Accra Regional Minister Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo joined NADMO officials to donate supplies in flood-hit Alajo after June 29's heavy downpour displaced residents and snarled traffic. She directed local leaders to activate emergency teams, desilt drains, and plan demolitions of waterway structures while stressing public education on waste. Footage of her saying future actions would happen 'in previous weeks' fueled online mockery, with many calling her incoherent amid Accra's ongoing flooding struggles from choked drains and illegal builds.
One thing i will never understand is why she was awarded best regional minister this year whiles her region gets flooded the most during heavy rains.
