AMA Sanctions 13 Offenders During National Sanitation Day Exercise

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) sanctioned six shop owners, four traders and three drivers during the National Sanitation Day exercise for violating directives aimed at supporting the city-wide cleanup. Despite heavy rainfall, the exercise went ahead as part of efforts to improve sanitation, prevent flooding and keep drainage systems clear. AMA also reaffirmed its commitment to enforcing sanitation regulations and tackling activities that contribute to flooding in Accra.
