Ghana promises accountability in South Africa evacuation sending

Ghana says it is using its emergency contingency budget to fund the evacuation of citizens fleeing xenophobic attacks in South Africa. Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said the funds were released after approval from the President and Parliament. He assured the public that all expenses will be fully accounted for once the evacuation exercise is completed.
