Ukraine Embassy in Ghana Opens Online Book of Condolences After Deadly Russian Missile and Drone Strikes

The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Ghana, with deep sorrow, informs that during the night of June 2, 2026, the Russian Federation, continuing its attempts to terrorize the Ukrainian people, carried out another massive missile and drone attack against Ukraine, particularly targeting Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia.
As of June 3, 2026, at least 17 people have been killed and more than 100 injured as a result of the attack. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
In this time of grief, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Ghana has opened an online Book of Condolences to honour the memory of those who lost their lives in the attack.
Messages of sympathy, solidarity, and support may be sent to the Embassy's email address, ukremb.gh@gmail.com, from June 3 to June 6, 2026.
