Massive Russian Missile and Drone Attack Kills at Least 10 Across Ukraine

A large-scale Russian missile and drone assault on multiple Ukrainian cities has killed at least 10 people and injured more than 100 others, according to Ukrainian officials. The overnight attack struck the capital, Kyiv, as well as Dnipro, Kharkiv and other regions, causing extensive damage to residential buildings, infrastructure and power facilities.
Authorities reported that several apartment blocks were hit, with emergency crews continuing rescue operations amid fears that more victims could be trapped beneath the rubble. In Kyiv alone, multiple districts suffered damage from explosions, fires and falling debris.
Ukraine's Air Force said Russia launched hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles during the barrage, making it one of the largest attacks in recent months. Despite intercepting many of the incoming weapons, several targets were successfully struck, leading to widespread destruction and civilian casualties.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the strikes and renewed calls for additional air-defense systems from international partners. Meanwhile, neighboring Poland reportedly scrambled fighter jets to safeguard its airspace during the attack.
