A pregnant woman has lost her life following a tragic tipper truck accident at Atimpoku-Senchi Market on the Akosombo-Kpong Highway in the Eastern Region.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service, the Howo tipper truck overturned, spilling its load of sand and trapping the victim beneath the truck's head. Firefighters from the Kpong and Akosombo Fire Stations responded swiftly and recovered the body, which has since been handed over to the Police for preservation and investigations.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation...
