Kimmie, played by Taylor Polidore Williams, finally levels the playing field with the Bellaire family just as tensions rise to another boiling point. Netflix released the first-look images for Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black season three on Tuesday, ahead of its August 27 premiere.
In the latest chapter of the Tyler Perry drama, Kimmie partners up with Mallory, played by Crystle Stewart, to keep their footing as the Bellaire family battles.
“Kimmie finally has a seat at the Bellarie table, but when a deadly family feud erupts, she’s forced into an uneasy alliance with Mallory. Together, they navigate a ruthless world of blackmail, revenge, and buried secrets as the family wages war against one of its own, threatening to bring the entire empire crashing down,” a synopsis from Netflix states.
The main cast for the third season also includes Amber Reign Smith, Xavier Smalls, Ricco Ross, Julian Horton, Steven G. Norfleet, Richard Lawson, Terrell Carter, Bryan Tanaka, Charles Malik Whitfield and Debbi Morgan.
The third season will not be the final chapter in the Bellaire family saga, as was earlier feared, after Netflix recently renewed the drama for a fourth season. Beauty in Black is executive produced, created, written and directed by prolific producer Perry. The producer credits are shared by Angi Bones and Tony Strickland for Tyler Perry Studios.
Additional cast on the third season includes Bailey Tippen, Rodrigo Aburto, Randall J. Bacon, George Middlebrook, Greg Clarkson, Jasmine Burke, Aria Celeste Castillo, Gianmarco Duin, Raven Chambers, Michael Butler, Jillmarie Lawrence and Jim Braswell.
