UGMC completes four more kidney transplant surgeries, bringing the total to 15

The latest milestone comes two years after the Centre conducted its first kidney transplant procedures in June 2024, highlighting the steady growth and advancement of its transplant programme.
UGMC's progress represents a significant step in strengthening specialised healthcare services in Ghana and reducing the need for patients with kidney failure to travel abroad for transplant procedures.
