Somalian Ref denied entry into U.S.A

A World Cup referee from Somalia has reportedly been denied entry to the United States.

Omar Abdulkadir Artan was chosen by FIFA to take charge of World Cup games, but was not allowed to enter the US, investigative journalist Romain Molina and other outlets have reported. The Confederation of African Football crowned Artan the continent’s best referee in 2025.
